Stranger

In a mirror you see a face you thought disappeared.
Lines have embroidered stories to the skin
and in your soul you feel that something  forgotten awakes.
And you don't know how to be, and you don't know what way.
What have your hands done?
It sneaks to the room and won't let you sleep.
Like barefooted devil on hot floor.
It dances, like he danced on your side before.
And you don't know how to be, and you don't know what way.
You see a face in the mirror, you see a stranger
and you know what you wish for, but cannot catch it.
And you don't know how to be, and you don't know what way.
You can't get away from my sins, and no one will get them.
What have my hands done?
